Red bean paste with canned beans

Hi! i had a can of red beans and didn't know what i wanted to do with it. I decided to make sweet red bean paste to fill inside hoppang (호빵), a korean red bean filled chewy bread.
This was wayyy simpler than i expected, and needs only two ingredients: beans and sugar.
I forgot to take a picture again but it looks like the bean paste they sell at stores, except tastes more homemade and has a lighter color.

Ingredients:
1 can (15 oz) red beans
1/4  cup sugar
1/8 cup boiling water

Directions:
place all ingredients in the blender.
blend for 30-40 seconds until creamy and pasty.

FINISH!

  1. Do you mean small red beans (as in southwest dishes) or adzuki beans? Please clarify this. Thank you
