Yeast Baked Donuts

I don't have a deep fryer, nor do i want to sacrifice one of my mom's pots, so I decided to bake my donuts. These donuts came out really soft and chewy! Will definitely make these again!

Ingredients:
5 cups of flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1 packet active dry yeast
1&1/3 cup milk. (warm enough to dissolve yeast)
2&1/2 tbsp melted butter
2/3 cup sugar

Directions:
dissolve yeast and milk.
make sure all ingredients are room temperature
add in butter adn sugar to yeast mixture.
add egg, flour, nutmeg, and salt to mixture.
mix well and let dough rise in a oiled bowl for 1 hour
punch the dough down and cut them in to desired shape.
let the newly formed donuts rise for 45 minutes to 1 hour.

bake them at 375 for 15 minutes or until ready.
